Features include 20in Wheels ($5000), Alpine sound ($1500), Advanced Technology ($2800), Luxury Package ($2500) for an original window sticker price of $112,000!First and foremost we want to specify that this is an RAV (Reacquired Vehicle). Jaguar bought this car back from the original...  owner back in 2015 with 35k miles. Records do not indicate exactly why it came back and there’s too much here to list what was done. We can summarize that every system was ANYLIZED, PIN TESTED, CALIBRATED and RESET as needed. It then passed the Jaguar Quality Assurance 140 point inspection and received a 6 year 100k mile CPO Warranty. It was then sold through Jaguar. It was recently traded on a brand new Jaguar and we purchased it from that same dealer. Of course none of this matters if the original problem persisted. This is especially true since this car is no longer under factory warranty, right? We asked the same question and acquired all of the maintenance history since. We are happy to say that there is absolutely zero indication of any recurring maintenance issue since that time. In fact, this car never had a serious problem of any kind. All it has need since is routine maintenance. This car never broke, which leads us back to the original issue. With a little knowledge of the law, you can pretty much have any luxury vehicle reacquired. If you complain enough, they’ll eventually take it back. The general rule of thumb is the wealthier the clientele, the more RAV’s that occur. (No offense, but it’s true.) Evidence would point to this being the case. However, we weren’t there and therefore can’t say for sure.The bottom line is that this has proven to be a VERY reliable vehicle despite how it’s categorized. Given the proper documentation, we welcome RAV cars because they’ve always proven to be a flat out EXCELLENT VALUE. We currently have two RAV cars in the family, one being a Jaguar XJ8 L for mom. I personally drove this car for a few weeks and put on close to 200 in order to make sure no problems arose. And may I say, it does everything it’s supposed to. It’s in excellent original condition, everything works properly and this XKR is an absolute blast to drive. If a typical nice XKR is out of your price range or you’re simply a bargain hunter, I implore you to consider this one. 2013 Jaguar XK Special edition, Car turns on but will not drive until fixed, electronics are working but the fan that generates air to the engine is broken. Front and rear bumper will need to be replaced along with fender. Hood and door look like they are repairable with slight damage. Does not look like any frame damage from what I can see and the Jaguar has 61k miles. It seems with just a few repairs it will be back in drive-able condition. The Jaguar is sold in as is condition and there could be other things that is needed, this is from what I can see. Inspections are more than welcome. Car is sold as is where is, no warranty or claims of the Jaguar will be honored.
